# Pipeline Status

Pipeline Status indicators show which stage of the integrity pipeline is currently processing. They appear in the Chat Panel as messages flow through extraction, normalization, conflict detection, policy evaluation, and gating.

**Pipeline visibility is a core design principle.** Users see the system doing integrity work at each stage rather than receiving a black-box response. This transparency supports trust-building, debugging, and operational understanding.
