# Context Scope

Context Scope controls let operators view and manage which scope is active for the current interaction.

* View the current active scope (thread, entity, or global)
* Switch context when working across multiple entities
* Inspect scope inheritance and boundary rules
* Verify that state is being evaluated in the expected context

**Many apparent bugs are actually scope mismatches.** Before troubleshooting a missing state item or unexpected gate result, confirm you are looking at the correct scope.
