# Chat Interface

The Chat Interface is the operator surface where Cogna8 makes authorization decisions visible during normal work - not as a separate compliance workflow after the fact.

## What This Surface Is For

Use the chat interface to capture new information through natural language, observe how the system forms and updates state, see conflict detection in real time, trigger or inspect action gating outcomes, and review integrity feedback without leaving the workflow.
